About The Founder
Upcycled Consulting was started by Jessica Richardson. With 15 years of both corporate & field retail experience, Jessica has managed hundred-million dollar product lines for Smith & Hawken, BCBG Max Azria, and most recently Pottery Barn of Williams-Sonoma Inc., one of the largest e-commerce retailers in the U.S., and one of the biggest multi-channel specialty retailers in the world.
Throughout her tenure in merchandising, she was always passionately involved in brands’ Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR), from doubling the FSC-Wood assortment to removing single-use plastics from corporate offices. In 2018, she made the decision to leave her comfortable corporate life behind to help brands and consumers adopt more eco-conscious practices.
Jessica has furthered her education in sustainability by becoming a TRUE Zero Waste Advisor, Green Globe Accredited Auditor, and coursework through membership of ISSP (International Society of Sustainability Professionals).
